Earlier on this year I wrote a post called "
Wellie Weather" about how having the right gear for the weather and event can be the difference between having an easy relaxed time and a moany grumpy time and so with a change in the weather a new item of clothing has taken centre stage over the last fortnight and that is the toweling hoodies! Whether after swimming at the pool, following a play at the beach or between splash attacks at
Fishers Farm Park the Smalls have worn little else over the last fortnight.

In no way should this be regarded as a sponsered post by the way. Baby Smalls hoodie was Big Smalls back in 2006 and has been worn every summer since by someone in our family for the last 5 years and still looks fabulous. It was originally from
The White Company. Middle Small's & Big Small's current ones are from Boden.
E's is this years, We discovered he needed a new one when he, literally, got stuck in his old one! and S's is from last years collection and still fits her prefectly.
The only problem with them is that they never want to take them off!

We have all been swimming this morning. In The Daddy One's 17 days off I think the Big Smalls managed about 10 trips to the local pool so they were keen for me to see their progress. Baby Small and I went along but the water was a lttle cold for him, his only previous experience of indoor swimming was at
Henry House in Worthing which is basically like a bath so I can imagine his suprise!

When we arrived home, after the Turkish Grand Prix, The Smalls had a burst of creativity and were keen to draw around themselves. We have done this activity before, most recently labelling internal organs and other body parts but todays was strictly freestyle! E is a Roman Gladiator and S is a fashion designer with her Barbie included as well and, guess what, they are still wearing their hoodies!

You can pick up old rolls of wallpaper for £1 or £2 in the bargain buckets at DIY stores. Great for a rainy day.
